We are excited to share important information regarding promotion and upcoming end-of-year activities. Please review the details below carefully:
🎓 Promotion Ceremony
The 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Gregori High School Gym (3701 Pirrone Road). Students must arrive no later than 4:00 PM, doors open to guests at 4:30 PM. Please note that no entry will be allowed once the ceremony begins.
Each student will receive five (5) tickets for guests. Seating is first come, first served, and seat saving is not permitted. Students must follow the MCS dress code (appropriate attire under gowns). No backpacks, purses, or outside items are allowed. Cell phones may be brought but must remain put away during the ceremony. Graduation leis and balloons are not permitted until after ceremony. We kindly ask that guests remain until the ceremony concludes.

Students must meet promotion requirements and attend both practices to participate:
• Tuesday, May 26 | Mark Twain Gym | 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• Wednesday, May 27 | Gregori High School Gym (students will be bused; depart at 9:30AM, return 1:30PM) Students should bring a water bottle. No bags will be allowed on the bus.

Transportation will no longer be automatically assigned. All families who need bus service must submit a request. Key information to know.
• Registration opens today, May 6th, 2026.
• The priority deadline is June 12
• Requests submitted after June 12 will still be accepted, but service may be delayed.
• Families will receive one of three responses after submitting a registration form:
• Approved
• Pending review
• Not eligible
